Black and White

Both Photos show texture, the first also shows expression.

The two wolves fur is similar in appearance pattern and color-wise and they have the same features. The contrast is in the expressions on their faces. The wolf on the left appears weary, yet dignified and almost dapper. The wolf on the right has a lively bright look and the posture with the tilt of the head and the way it is leaning on the other, gives off an up-beat, cheerful feeling. The B&W takes away the accents that color can provide, perhaps the left wolf had a darker coat and eyes compared to the right, something which would have furthered the two contrasting wolves. The two opposing textures however are highlighted by the B&W. The wolf on the left's coat is much more sleek, where as the right's coat has a much more unkempt appearance, fitting their respective personalities which we can assume from their posture and expressions. One can picture that if they were humans, the left would have their hair gelled smooth and shiny, and the right would have loose, unkempt hair.

My photo ignores expression and focuses on texture. That is my dog Sierra's fur. I ran my fingers through it in order to ruffle it up and accentuate the different pieces. The fur also makes my hand stand out and brings out the texture of skin in contrast with that of the fur, also at the top left corner you can see just a bit of a furry pillow, the way it sticks together in strands is much different than Sierra's fur, and that too stands out in B&W.
